Judson ISD

State Assessments

Judson ISD believes a comprehensive testing program is an essential component of a student's instructional program. The data gathered from the tests are used for district and campus instructional planning and evaluation.

The Judson ISD Testing Department is responsible for the coordination and overall implementation of State Assessments involving STAAR for 3rd - 8th grades, STAAR End of Course (EOCs), STAAR Alternate 2, TELPAS, and NAEP. The department is also responsible for ordering and distributing testing materials to campuses, training of district personnel on testing policy and procedures, and assuring that state regulations are followed for the security and confidentiality of all state tests. The testing department in collaboration with other departments works to assure that results are effective and accurate in reflecting the progress of our students and reaching their goal toward graduation and career preparation.
